“THE great and the good of Birmingham will meet tomorrow to discuss the riot – behind closed doors. All 120 councillors and 10 city MPs agreed to keep the public and media out of the emergency session to avoid grandstanding. Here’s another novel idea. Open up the meeting and just don’t grandstand.”
